Classes are getting worked in here and there before everyone gets busy with their summer schedules. This Saturday we have a beginning weaving class. Come down to the shop on Saturday the 11th 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and weave a bookmark or turn it into a bracelet. Shoot an email to info@littlehawkyarns.com and let me know you are coming. I'll make sure you have a loom and supplies.
Weekends are filling fast with events in the area. You'll want to keep an eye out for an event calendar coming soon. I am working on how to do that on my page here. I know there is a way. I am my own IT person so it sometimes takes me a little bit to figure out the coding to get things the way I like them. I am never satisfied with straight out of the box products.
While I figure that out I'll let you in on a little secret. I love the local summer events! I get to meet everyone and make community connections. Some of the best news is that Chadron is starting a farmers market! Northwest Nebraska Farmers Market will start July 20 and run through September. I won't be able to make it to every one of the markets but I am planning on several of them for the summer. I was previously committed to other events before I got involved with the market. This means summer Saturdays at the market for me again. I'll make sure that is on my schedule.
Lastly, as this is planned to be just a quick update to tease you about upcoming schedules... My email newsletter program and my web host have had a tiff and are not supporting each other. I am in the middle of trying to sort out how I am going to handle that in the best way possible for you. I don't want to have my lists messed up and send a bunch of unnecessary emails. Feel free to subscribe still. It just may be a bit longer than normal to hear from me while I work out a new system.
